Gezhouba was the first dam on the Yangtze River constructed by Chinese People, a great number of technical difficulties in foundation treatment has been overcame during construction, such as 72 layer of weak intercalation in the dam foundation. CGGC has completed 128,800 m consolidation grouting, 54,000 m2 curtain grouting, 77,700 m2 joint grouting and 76,300 m2 impervious wall.
