Longtan Hydropower Station is a backbone project in cascade development of the Hongshuihe River, with a giant power station and a large reservoir, 9 generating units with a total installed capacity of 5,400MW. Situated in Tian’e County of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. With a drainage area of 98,500 km2, accounting to 71.2% of the Hongshuihe River's total. Average annually flow 1640m3/s and annual runoff 51.7 billion m3.

CGGC undertook the construction of left bank diversion tunnel, and bank slope, diversion tunnel, main dam works, and Dafaping aggregate system works.
