Pubugou Hydropower Station is the initial phase project in hydropower resources rolling development along the Daduhe valley, located at Hanyuan and Ganluo County of Ya’an City, total installed capacity 3.3 million Kw, average output annually 14.58 billion Kw/h capacity overall storage capacity 5.17 billion m3 with seasonal regulation.

After completion of Pubugou Hydropower Station, discharge in dry season will be improved. Increased the guaranteed output of Gongzui and Tongjiezi hydropower station at lower reach by 215,000 Kw/h, and output in dry season by 780 million Kw/h. In addition, increased the flood control standard from once in 100 years to 500 years as well.

The Dam will intercept up 85.3% of annual sediment yield of Gongzui Reservoir, reduced the sediment load of TGP in reaches, improved the navigation condition in an effective way. Pubugou Hydropower Station is closer to Sichuan-changing Load Center, with a transmission distance of 200km from Chengdu, and 360km from Chongqing. It is an important power source in hinterland of Sichuan.

CGGC won the bid for Highline Contract Section Ⅱ on left bank, left dam abutment excavation and Low Line Contract Section Ⅵ on right bank, water supply system on left bank, high/low connecting lines on left bank, Highline Contract Section Ⅱ on right bank, and Carl water treatment-works.
