Hongjiadu Hydropower Station, a cascade hydropower station on trunk Stream of the Wujiang River located at the lower reach of the Liuchonghe River on Northern origin of Wujiang River, 154km away from the Provincial Capital City of Guiyang, is the head Hydropower Station of the Wujiang River, total installed capacity of 540,000KW, average output annually 1.59 billion Kw/h and overall storage capacity 4.92 billion m3 and regulation storage 3.36 billion m3. Due to the regulation of reservoir, regulate flow in dry season will be increased, and discarded water is reduced in peak regulation of lower reaches in flood season, the power generation deficiency will be greatly improved. The Power Station will have greater benefit of compensation on lower reaches more than power generation itself. It is engaged in peak regulation, frequency modulation and standby power station on Guizhou power grid, improving the grid operation condition, possessed comprehensive benefit in flood control, water supply for industrial and agricultural production, improving ecological environment, tourism, aquiculture and navigation improvement.

CGGC won the bid in drilling and blasting as well as electromechanical installation works.
