Qingjiang Shuibuya in Badong County, Enshi Prefecture, Hubei Province, is project of cascade rolling development in Qingjiang valley, consisting of Dam, Powerhouse, the upper spillway on left bank and on right bank. The Dam is concrete face rock-fill dam with a maximum height of 233m. Four 400MW turbo-generating units with a total installed capacity of 1,600MW. Shuibuya Reservoir is along-period storage reservoir with a normal pool level of 400m, an overall storage capacity of 4.58 billion m3,and a balancing storage of 2.38 billion m3.

The Gezhouba Jiangnan Hydropower Construction Joint Venture under Gezhouba stock Co., Ltd. undertook the work construction of Shuibuya Hydropower project, i.e. dam and spillway works, and left bank grouting and drainage works, which are expected to complete in April 2008, contract overall duration 71 months.
