2.According to Preliminary Design, Earth and rock Excavation and Back Fill is 1350 million m3, Concrete Placement is 27.94 million m3, and Metal Structure Installation is 256,500 tons. TGP possessed the maximum quantity in the world.
3.TGP Phase ¢ò cofferdam has a water depth of 60m , Earth and rock back fill 12.2 million m3, impermeable barrier area 200,000 m2 , of which concrete impermeable wall 100,000 m3 and monthly intensity 3 million m3.
Maximum annual intensity of Concrete placement 5.48million m3,monthly intensity 553,500 m3 , and daily intensity 22,000 m3 in Phase ¢ò, all are world top records.
Phase ¢ó RCC cofferdam created a lot of world top records such as maximum block area up to 19,012 m3 , maximum monthly placement intensity up to 476,000 m3 and maximum daily intensity 210,066 m3 . All of these ranked the top construction intensity in world Water Conservancy Project.
